Indication
Ampicillin trihydrate is a semi-synthetic broad-spectrum penicillin. The antibacterial mechanism is to prevent the synthesis of the bacterial cell wall, so it can not only inhibit its proliferation, but also directly kill the bacteria. The effect on gram-positive bacteria is similar to that of penicillin. It has better effect on Streptococcus viridans and Enterococcus, but it has poor effect on other bacteria. It has no effect on penicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus. Among the gram-negative bacteria, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, meningococcus, influenza bacillus, bacillus pertussis, Escherichia coli, typhoid and paratyphoid bacilli, dysentery bacillus, Proteus mirabilis, Brucella, etc. are sensitive to this product, but easy to develop resistance. Pneumoniae, indole-positive Proteus, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa are not sensitive to this product. Trimethoprim can enhance the antibacterial effect of ampicillin trihydrate. Dosage
Mix with water :
Poultry-100g per 100 liters of water every day for 3-5 days (for chicks 100g / per 150-200 liters of water for 3-5 days)
In feed, mix 6 kilos with 1 ton of feed
(For prevention, use only half dosage for 2-3 days)
Calves / Foals -15-25g per day for 3-5 days
Sheep / Weaners -5-15g per day for 3-4 days
Lambs / Piglets- 1-3g per day for 3-4 days
