Properties
This product is light yellow or yellow crystalline powder.
Pharmacological effects
Tetracycline antibiotics. Doxycycline reversibly binds to the receptor on the 30S subunit of the bacterial ribosome, interferes with the formation of ribosome complexes between tRNA and mRNA, prevents the elongation of the peptide chain and inhibits protein synthesis, thereby rapidly inhibiting the growth and reproduction of bacteria. Doxycycline inhibits both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Bacteria are cross-resistant to doxycycline and oxytetracycline.
Oral administration absorbs quickly, is less affected by food, has high bioavailability, strong tissue penetration, wide distribution, and long-lasting effective blood concentration. The protein binding rate in pigs is 93%.
Function and use
Tetracycline antibiotics. It is used for the treatment of Escherichia coli, salmonellosis, pasteurellosis and respiratory diseases caused by mycoplasma caused by Gram-positive bacteria and negative bacteria in pigs and chickens.
Precautions
(1) Laying hens are prohibited during the laying period.
(2) Avoid taking it with feeds with high calcium content at the same time.
Adverse reactions
Long-term application can cause superinfection and liver damage.
