Pharmacological effects
Oxytetracycline hydrochloride soluble powder belongs to tetracycline antibiotics. Oxytetracycline reversibly binds to the receptor on the 30S subunit of the bacterial ribosome, interferes with the formation of ribosomal complexes between tRNA and mRNA, prevents peptide chain elongation and inhibits protein synthesis, thereby rapidly inhibiting the growth and reproduction of bacteria. Oxytetracycline inhibits both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Bacteria have cross-resistance to oxytetracycline and doxycycline.
Indication
It has strong effect on gram-positive bacteria such as Staphylococcus, Streptococcus hemolyticus, Bacillus anthracis, Clostridium tetani and Clostridium; negative for Gram-negative bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Salmonella, Brucella and Pasteurella Bacteria are more sensitive. This product also has an inhibitory effect on rickettsia, chlamydia, mycoplasma, spirochetes, actinomycetes and certain protozoa.
Usage
50% Oxytetracycline hydrochloride soluble powder is used to treat infectious diseases caused by sensitive Escherichia coli, Salmonella, Pasteurella and Mycoplasma in pigs and chickens.
Administration and Dosage
Based on this product.
Mixed drinking water: per 1L of water, 200-400mg for pigs; 300-500mg for chickens.
Use for 3-5 days.
Precautions
(1) 50% Oxytetracycline hydrochloride soluble powder should not be combined with penicillin drugs and drugs or feeds containing calcium salts, iron salts and polyvalent metal ions
(2) Co-administration with strong diuretics can aggravate renal damage.
(3) This product is not suitable to mix with tap water and alkaline solution with high chlorine content.
(4) Disabled animals with severely impaired liver and kidney function.
Adverse reactions
Long-term application can cause double infection and liver damage.
Withdrawal period
7 days for pigs and 5 days for chickens;
2 days for egg abandonment period.
