Diflubenzuron
Diflubenzuron is an organic compound, the pure product is white crystal, the original powder is white to yellow crystalline powder, the melting point is 230℃～232℃ (decomposition). Dissolved in water 0.08 mg/L (pH 5.5, 20℃), acetone 6.5g/L (20℃), dimethylformamide 104g/L (25℃), dioxane 20g/L (25℃) , moderately soluble in polar organic solvents, slightly soluble in non-polar organic solvents (<10 g/L). The solution is sensitive to light and stable to light in the presence of a solid.

Diflubenzuron is insoluble in water and insoluble in most organic solvents. Diflubenzuron is a benzoic acid-based phenyl urea insecticide. The insecticidal mechanism is to inhibit the synthesis of chitin synthase of insects, thereby inhibiting the synthesis of chitin in the epidermis of larvae, eggs and pupae, so that insects cannot molt normally. The parasite dies from deformity.
