Main ingredient
Vegetable oil (soybean oil, tung oil, corn oil, etc.) is vulcanized, sulfonated, and then reacted with ammonia water.
Properties
Unguentum Ichthammol is brown-black ointment; it has a special smell.
Pharmacological action
Ichthyrone has weak bacteriostatic effect and mild stimulating effect. Topical application has local anti-inflammatory and granulation growth stimulating effects.
